The Objective:
- Produce marketing strategies based on segmentation analysis.
Approach & Execution:
- Gathered multi millions rows of customer address data who is performing a service availability check on affiliate website. Initial data analysis was aimed at data completeness and cleanliness. The 3rd party data to add demographic information was further appended
- Segmentation was done using CART (Classification And Regression Trees)
- Eight segments were created with specific age group, income range, & Education level
- The segments then further mapped to zip codes
- The creative team was advised to produce segment specific landing pages e.g. students & recent college graduates were presented with creative which were appealing to them
- Marketing team further produced promotions as per the segments & worked with the creative team to design the graphics.
